We are excited to have you join us at our big fat Indian-Mexican wedding. While the focus may be our wedding, Antigua has so much beauty to offer and hope you enjoy this beautiful colonial town before, in-between, and after our wedding festivities.

  • We recommend booking your flights from January 23- 26, 2025. If your schedule allows, please extend your stay to experience Antigua and other parts of Guatemala during your visit.

    We fell in love with Guatemala for its beautiful architecture, rich history, and welcoming people. We are excited for you to explore Guatemala and fall in love with the country in the same way we did.

    Visa Requirements:

    For those flying from the U.S, a visa is not required to enter Guatemala. Please ensure you have at least 6 months of validity on your passport prior to your travels. For anyone holding a valid visa from US or Canada do not require a visa to enter Guatemala.

  • Please book your hotel room early! Antigua is a popular wedding and weekend destination and the hotels get booked quickly. We have a few room blocks available until November 15th but you may stay at any hotel of your choosing.

    Uber is also available in Guatemala. If you end up using Uber and are arriving later in the day, we recommend that you pre-schedule your Uber pick-up.

    **Optional Lake Atitlan Trip

    If you’re planning to join the Lake trip, please pre-book your shuttle with Antigua Tours. You’ll find the link to booking the shuttle service at the link above.

  • Marcus and Shrota, along with family and some friends, will be traveling to Lake Atitlan after the wedding. You are encouraged to join! They will stay in Lake Atitlan from January 26 -29th.

    Panajachel is a small town that serves as the central point at Lake Atitlan. However, there are many towns along Lake Atitlan and you are able to travel between towns with lanchas, or small speed boats.

    Transportation

    We have your interest in traveling to Lake Atitlan via your RSVP. We’ll connect you to one of the transportation vendors so you can book your transportation service from Antigua to Panajachel.
